Homemade Olive Oil Pizza Dough

Our families favorite Olive Oil Dough

We use this for pizza nights, cheesey bread, you name it! So good, so easy, and CHEAP.


Makes two 1- Pound Loaves, recipe could easily be doubled



Ingredients:

1 1/3 Cups lukewarm water

314 TBSP Yeast

314 TBSP Salt

1/2 TBSP Sugar

1/8 Cup Extra virgin olive oil

3 114 Cups Unbleached all-purpose flour

••Steps:

  1. Mix the yeast, salt, sugar and olive oil with the water in bowl or a lidded (not air tight) food container

  2. Mix in flour without kneading, using a spoon or hand mixer with dough hook

  3. Cover (not airtight) and allow to rest at room temp until dough rises and collapses (or flattens on top). I leave mine on counter for two hours.

  4. The dough can be used immediately after rising. I usually refrigerate till an hour before use and bring back to room temp before forming.

  5. Shape, and add your favorite toppings before baking at 425 for 10-12 minutes or until cooked to your liking
